Fake or Truth, How do you utilize SNS?

I started to use Twitter as one of the apps as SNS, at that time, the purpose of use is not to collect opinions or information of other people in the world, just to collect operating information of some Restaurants or cafes.

However, while I was checking these information, occasionally I could find some political opinions of other users or medias, or even directly from politicians, as recommended by Twitter itself.

Especially while under US president election periods, both conservative, or liberal members were fighting with their opinions and also with some evidence and pictures.

However, sometimes these evidence and pictures are kind of fake information, created for propaganda or media manipulation.

Under such situation, Japan set up one organization called “Japan fact check Center(JFC)” as they would check whether information is correct or not correct or totally fake, etc.

 I found some of the interesting or funny information were actually not correct through their site.

However, there would be some issues, since JFC members are from mass medias especially mainly from liberal side considerably, therefore some times I am afraid their info also should be carefully read whether correct or not.

Today I would like you to discuss, how do you collect information from medias ( including SNS) and how do you define whether information is correct or not.

<Questions>

1. Have you ever seen fake information through Medias or SNS?

 If yes, how did you know that information is not correct or fake? If not, what impression do you have?

2. How do you usually check whether the information is correct or not if that information is doubtful?

3. How media should be? Is it possible to be completely neutral?
