How to deal with social media

Nowadays, social networking fatigue is one of the problems in many countries including Japan. Some people got tired of it and quit social media. Recently, I watched a TV program whose title was “The Instagram effect”, The program said that Instagram can make negative impacts on many people.

Why are people affected by social media? Are there any tips to get along with it? I would like you to think about it through this discussion.
