≪FIRST HALF≫

英語でワードウルフ E’s ver.

【概要】

ワードウルフとは、みんなで“あるお題”について話し合う中、「みんなとは異なるお題」を与えられた少数派の人（ワードウルフ）を探し出すゲーム。

【目的】

質問力、回答力等、日常会話に通ずる英語力の向上を目指す

【ゲーム手順】3サイクル行う（1サイクル：8分）

4人あるいは5人のグループに分かれる（※手順の説明は4人の参加者とする）

紙に書かれたお題を確認する（※他の人に見られないように確認する）

確認し終わったら、ゲーム開始

オーナー（当日は幹事が務める）から時計回りに1つずつ質問をする

1つの質問に対して、時計回りに答えていく

（Yes/Noクエスチョンだけでなく、5W1Hを交えると推測しやすくなる）

一人2回の質問および回答を終えたら、ワードウルフだと思われる人を指さす

一斉に与えられたお題を言い、ワードウルフを確認する

終了時間までゲームの感想を英語で言い合う

・なぜウルフだと思ったか

・どの質問が良かった　等

1サイクル終了

【勝利条件】

全員（ワードウルフ以外）の勝利

ワードウルフを過半数（4人グループ：2人、5人グループ：3人）の人が指した場合

ワードウルフの勝利

過半数以上に指されなかった場合

【例】ジャムvsバター

質問例：

・Do you use it every day?

・When do you use it

・Is it expensive to you?

・How often do you eat it?

Covid: Double vaccinated can still spread virus at home

On 26 November 2021, WHO designated the variant B.1.1.529 a variant of concern, and gave it the simple name Omicron.

The Omicron variant has spread rapidly around the world and has been found to be more transmissible than the Delta Variant.

Before the advent of the Covid-19 vaccine, we were told everything will return to normal with the development of the vaccine.

Around the beginning of November 2021, vaccination rates were higher compared to 2020 and the situation improved, so I started to believe we didn’t need to wear a mask.

But the situation, although seeing some improvement, has left us in the midst of the pandemic.

If we are fully vaccinated, including a 3rd booster, will our life really return to normal?

There is an interesting article about the spread of virus amongst vaccinated people, and is based on an article from the Lancet, a highly respected medical journal.

1. Now that you have known that vaccinated and unvaccinated people can both spread the virus, does this change your opinion on the vaccine?

2. Should children be vaccinated? Why or why not?

3. Some people believe that the vaccine could cause unknown health problems in the future, that’s why they won’t take the vaccine, should they be treated differently compared to vaccinated people? e.g. you can’t enter a country if you are unvaccinated.
