＜Agenda＞” How to attract customers”

“Hankyu” is one of the renowned brands in the Kansai area and loved by people living there.

They offer us a variety of service and business. Above all, their department stores and train business have been widely known for us.

Also, they have many fans. I have been actually a big fan of the “Hankyu” brand for over thirty years.

It is not too much to say that I cannot live without it, since I have lived along the Hankyu railway line for more than twenty years.

Also, I always buy presents for my parents and friends at a Hankyu department store.

Indeed, the Hankyu department store is ranked as the second biggest number of sales in Japan, according to Nikkei Ryutsu newspaper in 2019.

Apart from it, there is a novel “Hankyu train”. It also became a movie.

Why has the “Hankyu” brand been attracting so many people?

The popularity of the “Hankyu” brands seems to be attributed to how they treat customers and think of them.

Building a strong positive brand image is crucial for companies to gain continuous profit.

In this discussion, I would like you to think of some key factors for companies to build their brand image and enhance it.

I would be happy that you will have an interest in “Marketing”.
