What to do when your friend has a problem?

<Agenda>What to do when your friend has a problem?

I changed my job in August and moved from Osaka to Kyoto during the same period. I’m currently living in a share house in the center of Kyoto. There are people who are from different countries living here, and I enjoy talking, cooking, and playing with them every day. However, due to the pandemic of COVID- 19, there are people who have no choice but to return to their home countries due to lack of work, or people who work at a company but are really bored because they don’t have any projects to work on. They sometimes ask me for advice from time to time. But it’s not always easy to advise them and solve their problems because each person’s situation is different. I have my own way of dealing with problems, but it’s sometimes difficult to explain to them when they’re from different countries or cultures.

So I’d like to hear your opinion. How do you deal with your worries? How do you think you have to take care of someone who is struggling with his /her trouble? I’d be happy to hear and share your experiences, etc.

Q1: What do you usually worry about? What is it about?

Q2: How do you deal with your problems (ex. your worries as above)? Please share your experience.

Q3: What do you do when your friend is struggling with his/her troubles? Please share your experience. What is the best thing to do for him/her?
