＜Agenda＞“Can we enjoy performances using Live Streaming Apps?”

After the announcement of “State of Emergency” in April, many live performances, including music, play, sports, or other events have been restricted, which immediately leads to the loss of income who are involved in these industries. Under this situation, many live streaming applications (apps) became active very much. Then those performers who lost the chance of income got started, their performances using these apps to look for other sources of their incomes. Surprisingly, very popular talents such as Gackt or Koeda Katsura are one of them.

I myself started to watch live performance using these apps such as YouTube Live, Instalive, and 17 live from this April, as the pianist, one of my friends started live streaming instead of her performance in the piano bar. Although I was very negative before I started to use it, after a month of being a listener, I found a lot of possibilities of Live Streaming Apps. For example, in some cases, performers can get new fans using their streaming, these fans may attend to their offline live performances. So, it would be a marketing tool to get new fans. Listeners also can communicate with each other, so it would be the new style of community or circle activities.

3. If you were a performer, what kind of performance would you want to do? Also, how would you attract the listers?
