<Agenda>How to establish a daily routine that works for you?

Do you have any routine? Morning yoga, keeping a diary, and, copying good writings, these things are routines I failed to keep doing. Many articles suggest that we establish routine, but it seems to be very difficult to keep doing it in everyday life. However, I have some successful experience. For example, I have been taking a jog once a week over the past one year. The reason why I started jogging is participating in a full marathon race.Even after the marathon race, I keep running. So, what is the difference between the unsuccessful routine and the successful one?
A bestseller book “The power of habit” says how habits work. There are three elements, “cue”, “routine”, and “reward”. In the case of blushing teeth habit, “cue” is feeling dingy film on teeth and, “reward” is tingling, clean feeling that mint flavor makes. People blush their teeth not only to remove plaque but also to ask for the reward. The author said, “The reason why these cues and rewards are so important is
because over time, people begin craving the reward whenever they see the cue, and that craving makes a habit occur automatically”.
What do you think about the example above? In the discussion, I want to ask you what is the key to establishing routine successfully.
